The vandalism and destruction of iconic Denver areas, while heartbreaking, is nothing that can’t be cleaned up, repaired, or replaced. Unlike the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Elijah McClain, and the countless other black men and women who have died needlessly, simply because of the color of their skin.
The universe does like its balance. After two years of traveling to Grand Forks, ND, during winter, polar vortexes, and all kinds of cold and snow, I was unexpectedly chosen for a work trip to Hawaii.
